CAMBRIDGE SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Company, Limited, Hamilton, report on their tri-weekly stock sale held at Cambridge yards on Monday as follows: —
An average yarding of fat cattle sold at values practically up to late quotations, while buyers were found for a few pens of heifers at satisfactory prices. A fairly large yarding of store lambs m»t with a good demand, at prices about •» a par with late Frankton rates. A large entry of mostly store and weaner pigs changed hands at prices a shade easier than Frankton quotations:—
Fat and forward cows £2 5s to £2 15s, lighter quality do. £1 15s to,£2 3s, light do. £1 12s to £1 15s, killable £1 7s to £1 Us, stores 18s to £1 6s, Potter bulls £1 10s to £2 ss, prime lambs 12s 6d to 15s 6d, fat lambs 8s to lis 6d, rape lambs 6s 6d to 7s, Good store lambs 5s to 6s 3d, others 3s to 4s 6d, light porkers 16s to £1 2s, large stores 14s to 16s, other stores 12s to 14s, slips 8s to 12s, weaners 6s to Bs.
