Urging that pressure be brought to bear on the Government to bring about a return to Jhe penny-postage system, Mr. A. J. Curtis, at Tuesday's meeting of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, said that such a move would demonstrate the Government's willingness to help the commercial community to keep down overhead expenses. The president, Mr. C. J. B. Norwood, assured Mr. Curtis that every phase of the question was being examined by the chamber. It was difficult, however, to bring up such an advocacy at a time when so many vital matters confronted the country.
