DAIRY EXPORTS
REDUCTIONS IN INSURANCE. A SAVING OF £7OOO A YEAR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Wellington, this day. The Dairy Control Board announces a new marine insurance contract to date from September 1, 1932, covering butter at 6s 4d per cent, and cheese at 7s. per cent. The previous rates were 7s. per cent, for butter and Bs. 2d per cent for cheese. The above rates of insurance are to be retrospective as from Ist January, 1932. The reductions will effect a saving of 10 per cent, on butter and 14 per cent, on cheese. The value of the reductions will mean approximately a saving of £7OOO per annum to the industry.
