ARMAMENT TRUCE
JAPAN WANTS ADJOURNMENT. AMERICA SEEKS CONCESSIONS. (Press Association. —Cop t yright.) (Received 9.45 a.m*.) Geneva, September 23. The British United Press correspondent says that the Italian armament truce is doomed to failure owing to Japan’s proposal to adjourn its operation. Mr. Wilson said America would accept Italy’s year’s truce plan if it exempted the destroyers which the United States is now building.
