The track is in excellent order. Results: — RIMU HIGHWEIGHT HANDICAP. Won by a length, three lengths between second and third. Time, 2.9. NZ. ST LEGER STAKES. I—Lady Pam (8.7) 1 4—King March (8.7) 2 s—Pewa (8.7) 3 Scratched: Fitzquex, Hawkshaw, Merry Cry. Won by a nose, four lengths between second and third. Time, 3m iy 2 s. PLUNKET NURSERY. 2 —Bronze Eagle (7.3) 1 13—Oratorian (8.3), and I—High Comedy (8.11), dead heat for second place.
