TAUMARUNUI SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Tuesday's sale:—There was a small yarding of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle. A. heifers, £9 to £9 10s; 2-year PA. heifers, £7 "to £7 15s; 2-year Hereford heifers, £6 3s; P.A. cows, £9 7s 6d; yearling Jersey heifers, £4 10s to £5 10s; dairy cows, £6 15s to £l3 15s. CAMBRIDGE SALE Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their Cambridge stock sale on Wednesday, 30th October, when a medium yardingl of cattle was offered. Pigs were penned in mere than average numbers and showed a sharp rise. Quotations: — Fat cows made from £7 5s to £8 15s; forward cows £5 12s 6d to £6 15s; store cows £2 17s to yearling Jersey cross heifers, £3 15s to £5 6s; yearling Jersey bulls, £4 10s to £7; yearling S.H' bulls, £6 ss; aged do, £6 to £8 10s; dairy cows made from £9 10s to £l4 15s; dairy heifers, Holstein, £l2 tio £l2 15s; dairy heifers, Jersey, £7 10s to £l2. Fat wethers, woolly, 345. Medium porkers, £3 to £3 6s; large stores, £2 12s to £2 15s; good quality stores, £2 3s to £2 8s; best slips, £1 15s to £2 0s 6d; good weaners, £1 9s to £1 12s; small weaners, £1 to £1 3s. DAIRY PRODUCE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 30th inst. (last week's quotations in parentheses) : Butter.—N.Z., choicest, salted, 178 s to 182 s per cwt. (180 s to 182 s). Cheese.—93s to 95s per cwt. (White 945, coloured 92s to 935.) Markets slow.
