STOCK SALE REPORTS

TE KUITT. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual stock sale at Te Kuiti on Wednesday, the *l4th April. There was a small yarding of both sheep and cattle. Prices for sheep were much bettor, but cattle sold at late rates. Quotations:— Good b.f. mixed sex 2-tooths made 20s. others 17s 4d, good woolly w.f. lambs 14s Gd to 15s Gd, medium woolly w.f. lambs 12s to 13s Gd, small b.f. lambs 9s Gd to lis Gd, fair shorn lambs 12s Gd, aged ewes (low condition) 12s. MATIERE. At Matiere on Friday, the lGtli, there was a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Competition was good throughout and the bulk of the yarding changed hands at prices above last sale. Quotations: — Good 2-tooth wethers made 235, fair m.s. woolly lambs 14s, fat cows £3 10s to £5, small fat steers £8 ss, good 3£-year steers £G 5s to £7. TAIHAPE. Messrs Abraham and. Williams, Ltd., report on their Taihape sale on 15th inst. as follows:—We had a good yarding of 1400 sheep and 50 cattle. There was a good enquiry for sheep, especially lambs, and we had a total clearance, but cattle were hard to sell. Wo quote:— Fat wethers 255, forward ewes 12s 3d, ewes v.w. FEILDING Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Feilding sale held on Friday, 16th inst., as follows.—We had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. A specially good line of 875 lambs from Mr A. R. Bartlett, Kimbolton, attracted keen competition.
