STOCK SALE REPORTS. HAMILTON. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report: At Hamilton sale on Tuesday, there was a heavy yarding of beef of medium quality, and a good entry of store cattle. Reef was dull of sale, and declined in value by fully l< r >s per beau. Store -steers sold fairly well, but bidding was lifeless in qther classes. An average entry of sheep met with moderate competition, but prices were easier. We quote:— Fat wethers (light) 355, store wethers £1 11s to £1 2s 6d, fat cows £6 7s to £7, light cows £5 to £6, rough fat cows £3 15s to £4 <s 6d, lio-ht fat steers £6 to £7 2s 6d, veal calves £1 13s to £2 3s. Pigs: The demand for heavy bacouers was as good, if not a shade better, than last week’s. Medium baconers sold up to last week’s prices, porkers were easier, being little demand for unfinished sorts. Prime heavy baconers £3 12s to £3 l<s, heavy baconers £3 8s to £3 11s, medium baconers £3 to £3 6s, light baeoners £2 14s to £2 18s, best porkers £2 8s to £2 12s, light porkers £2 to £2 6s, unfinished and small £1 12s to £1 17s. A heavy yarding of store and weaner pigs sold at late rates. Store pigs £1 2s to £1 6s, slips 14s to 17s, weaners 10s to 13s 6d, others 7s 6d. to 9s.

Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Fraukton on Tuesday we held our weekly stock sale, where we had a fair entry of beef and mutton, while store cattle and pigs were yarded in good numbers. We quote : Heavy fat cows £6 10s to £7 12s 6d, lighter £4 11s to £5 10s, unfinished £3 12s fid, to £4, fat heifers £3 17s fid to £4 2s 6d, forward conditioned 3£-year steers £6 15s to £7, poorer sorts £6 4s to £6 7s, 2£-year steers £5 7s, store cows 20s to 355, heifer calves 14s to 20s.

'TAUMARUNUT. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., reporit:— At Taumarunni on Tuesday, stock came forward up lo advertised numbers, our yarding comprising 2262 sheep, 219 head of cattle, and 22 pigs. The sheep yarding mainly comprised wethers and lambs, and for these there was spirited competition. Ewes were only medium, and prices were on a par with last sale. Cattle were not so keenly sought after, but practically all lines changed, hands. FKILDJNG. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report : At the Feilding sale on Friday, the 3rd inst., there was a good yarding of sheep and a. fair entry of cattle. Practically a total clearance was effected at the following prices:— Fat ewes 27s to 35s fid, fat lambs 27s lid to 39s 3d, light fat wethers to 355, good shorn R.F. lambs 235, good W.F. wwilier lambs 23s fid to 24s fid, extra good ewe lambs to 30s, fonvard condition 2,4, and 6-tooth wethers 35s 2d, small 2-tooth ewes r.w. Rom. rams 29s lOd to 34s fid.
