A MONSTER BOAR.
KILLED BY SETTLER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Opotiki, this day. Gerald Joblin, the owner of a sheep run a few miles from town, killed a boar Avhich wounded him severely on September 10th. Tlve boar was discovered at daybreak this meaning and was killed after a stern straggle. • The measurement showed the boar to be six feet long from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail, and is one of the largest boars ever killed in the Opotiki district.
