Mr M. A. Hunter, manager of the Bank of Australasia, has received notice of his transfer to take over the branch of the Bank at Motu, in the Gisborne district.
Mr W. H. Atack, of the United Press Association, with Miss Atack, spent a few hours in Te Kuiti on Thursday on their return to Wellington. Mr Atack expressed appreciation of the wide streets in the town, and the brightness of the shops.
