FOR THE CHRONICLE. Feeling that weather reports from Mr D. C. Bates. Dominion Meteorologist, shoul be published in each issue of th*» Chronicle. Hon. T M Wilford, Minister of Marine, was communicated with. the Minister's reply. received to-day. is as follows:—"I am informed by the Marine Department chat you nave asked that a daily we&thar forecast may be supplied" to Te Kiiti by tbe Meterological Office, and, after looking into the matter, I have decided that sueh a report is to be supplied, as I am satisfied that it will be of considerable benefit to your growing and j important farming district."
