He suggested that a book containing a record of sale cootd be kept, and he did not see bow such restrictions could act detrimentally on anyone. air A. Mr T. Pine: One old man who bad been drinking it freely and bad run out of it was, with great difficulty prevented from tackling benzine.
Mr W. v. Lorigan agreed with Mr Bargreaves. bat be thought that when a man came to that stage that be bal to drink methylated spirits to satisfy bis craving, tbe best thing to do woold bs to give him as much as be could consome.
Mr J. F. Walsh agreed with the speakers, and said be would support a motion on the subject.
Mr Bargreaves said be was not sure whether it was advisable to take action at present. Tbe matter was dropped.
