A LAND BUREAU.

+..- FOR RETURNED SOLDIERS. At Friday tsight's m3eting of the Te Kuiti branch of tbe Returned Soldiers' Association Mr Kaveney suggested the establishment of a land bureau for returned soldiers, where tbey could eet reliable information on land matters. A Member: We would need a permanent secretary on tbe spot. Mr Verosn (chairman): In Auckland and Hamilton they have land bureaux, which are really land agents' businesses run for the soldiers. The idea was that half the commission went to the association.

Seret -Major Hathaway moved that the secretary be instructed to obtain infomation as to tha working of the bureau in Auckland.

Mr Douglas seconded the motion, which was cirried.
