SALE OF PEDIGREE JERSEY STOCK. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., offered on November Ist, at Palirerat'jn North, a consignment of Pedigree Jersey cattle from Gis> borne, on account of Mr Syd. Jones. The animals showed signs of the rough trip down, but in spite of this each lot met with keen competition and the following prices were realised: —Maid of Gamboge, Mr R. P. Edwards, Palmerston, 90gns.; Fox's Pet 11., Mr H. Burrell, Bunnythore, lG4gns.; Piakau Queen, Mr B. Wilton, Auckland, (Ugna.; Beachland's Pansey, Mr W. R. Butler, Hawera, 72gn8.; Beachland's Rose, Mr A. C. Lovelock, Woodville, 67gns. ; Golden Fern's R:yid, Mr E. Griffiths, New Plymouth, Gfigns.; Polka, Mr S. R. Lancaster, Palmerston, 50<?ns.; Dolly Gray, Mr B. Milton, Auckland, 40gns.; two two year old heifers made 48gns. and 75gns., the pnrchßser b?ing Mr M. Moynihan, Shannon; Pye yearling heifers made fro.ii 25 to 50?ns., the latter price being paid by Mr S. R. Lancaster for a very nice heifer by Noble Twylißh from Pencarrow's Violet. The aged bull, Golden Crest, fell to the bid of Mr S. R. Lancaster", at lOOgna., and a two year bull by Molina's General, imp., from Sweetbriar's Fancy, was secured by Mr W. H. Besclur, of Levin, for 25gns. Fivß yearling bulls realised various prices ranging from 10 to 20gna. We also held a sale at the Showgrounds on October Slst, when three pedigrae yearling Shorthorn bulls were disposed of on account of Mr D. K. Buchanan at 40gns., 25gns. and 18gns. respectively. STOCK SALES. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:— Te Kuiti.—On the 30th October a small yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle came forward. Tha demand for grown cattle and sheep was somewhat limited, one pen of p.B. yearlings making to £B. Prices ruling were as follows: —Two year steers to £9, yegrling steers £4 17s to £7 17s 6d, fifteen month hsifers £6 10b to £fi 13s 6d, dairy - Feilding. A smsll yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle. There was a good demand for all classes of cattle nnd practically ull lots changed bands at the following prices:—Fat ewes to 26s Gd, mixed hoggets to 24s 6d, forward cows to £lO 2s 6d, three ar.d, four year steers £l2 to £ls, two year steers £lO 2s to £l2, yearling steers £5 to £6 15s, eiaht3en month heifers £5 6s to £6 15s, store cows £4 15s to £6 15s, mixed weaners £2 14b to £3 10?, springing cotvs £ll 10s to £l2, springing haifers £8 15s t'> £9 10s, bullß to £8 15s. * Dalgety and Company, Limited, report:— Feilding. —We hhd a small entry of sheep and a very fair yardinsr of cattle. .* Quotations: Small hoggets 20s 7d, fair hoggets 26s to 27s Bd, aged empty ewes 20s, dairy heifers £8 5s to £lO 15s, springing heifers £l2 to £l3 2a 6d, dairy cows to £l3, store cowa £6 12s to £8 17s, bulls £4 Is to £9 6a. AUCKLAND PRODUCE MARKET. Potatoes. —Prime, old, £l7, new, best No. 1, 3d to 4£d; No. 2, 2d to 2j'd.; # No. 3, Id to l£d. Onions. —Imported 35s crate. Butter,—Farmers', in prints, Is 4d.
