AWAITING DEVELOPMENTS. HUNTLY MINERS' ATTITUDE. Huntly, This Day. Only thirty men returned to work at the Huntly mines yesterday. These included sixteen miners, five truckers and nine casual hands. These with seventy-one engine drivers, deputies, and mechanics, who remained loyal to the company right through, made 101 actually working when the whistles blew this morning. One new hand put in an appearance, but three who turned in yesterday were absent. Only 28, therefore, started to-day. The men consider this falling off a distinct victory. The lompany officials attribute it to tha fact that the majority of the striken are awaiting the decision of the directors to-day before acting.
