Many ex-3trikers complain they are unable to join the Arbitration Union owing to the absence of the secretary, who is reported to be on his holidays. There ig still some friction between ex-strikers and new labourers. Yesterday an arbitrationißt from the country was practically chased out of the hold of a coal boat by ex-strikers, with whom he was working. It IB understood police proceedings wil follow.
