PIO PIO.
Own Correspondent. The school concert held on 18th inst. proved a splendid success, The greater part of the programme was supplied by the children, who sang and recited splendidly, special praise being due to their teacher Mr Menzies, and to the ladies who assisted him in their instruction. The people turned out in large number, making a record house of £l7, which went to prizes and other good things, which were given in prizes at a picnic the following day. We are pleased to learn that a few of our more enterprising citizens have formed a Domain Board which means that the ground allotted as a domain will be turned from a wilderness into a pleasure resort which will be a decided benefit to everyone in the district.
