Mr Dillon Wallace, the Ameriacn Polar explorer, has returned from an Arctic expedition, though it was believed he was dead. He went north through Labrador in order to place a tablet on the spot where a companion on a former trip died of starvation. Mr Wallace lost the tablet en route the cause beiny the upsetting of his sledge, but he carved on the rockß with a chisel the words, "Leonidas Hubbard, an intrepid explorer, and a practical Christian, died October, 1903."
