The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows: HAMILTON STOCK SALE. At Hamilton on Thursday last, fat wethers made 20s 6d to 20s 9d, fat ewea 19s 9d to 21b, fat cowb £5 15s to £7 4s, store cowb £3 10s to £5 Is, eighteen months to two year steers £3 12s to £4 Bs, calves and yearlings 34s to 525, dairy cows £6 Is to £6 12a 6d porkers 20s, to 235, slip) 15b to 16s. DAIRY COW SALE. We held our annual dairy cow sale at Ohaupo on Wednesday and Thurßday2nd and 3rd inst, when 223 dairy cows and 588 heifers were submitted. The heifers were mainly two and a half year old Shorthorn? with a fair number of Jersey cross, their splendid condition and quality right through being a noticeable feature. There was a good attendance on both days, and bidding was brisk for all heifers showing to cume to profit early. Only late calvers failed to reach owners' reserves, and the sale altogether was a most successful one. Prices: Dairy cows, whole herd £6 10s to £l3, heifers forward in calf £7 5s to £9, others due later £6 to £6 12s 6d, cull cows £3 15s to £5 ss. WESTFIELD SALE. At Westfield yards on Wednesday fat cattle were yarded in average supply, and sold a shade easier than last week, prime oxen selling to 30b per 1001b, cows and heifers 18s to 25s per 1001b, steers £7 15s to £ls 17s 6d, cows and heifers £5 10s to £8 ! 15s. A small draft of steers extra well fatted, from Mr J. Massig's Aka Aka-Waiuku farm, averaged £ls 3s. Veal calves were yarded in average numbers, and sold at late quotations. Heavy vealers sold at £4 ss, medium weights. £2 10s to £3 12s, others 30s to 425, lighter sorts 20s to 30s, smaller and fresh dropped 3s to 18s. Sheep came forward in extra large numbers, and declined in prices, although quotations are the same. Best wethers sold at 22s to 275, one small, jxceptionally well done pen 35e, other wethers 18s to 225, inferior fatted 13s 6d to 17s 6d, heavy ewes 19s 3d to 24s 6d, others 13s 6d to 18s 9d, hogget) best quality 15s Gd to 18s 9d, others 12s 6d to 15a 3d. Pigs were yarded in less numbers than usual, and again sold at high rates, baconers selling to £4 Is 2d, porkers £2 5s to £3 Is, smaller 24s to 38s. JOHNSONVILLE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. report on their Johnsonviille sale as follows:—A good entry of bullocks and a heavy one of sheep came for ward. Sheep sold readily at advanced rates, whilst bullocks were not in great demand. We quote:—Best bul locks £ll 15s to £l2 2s 2d, lighter £lO 15s to £ll 7s 6d, prime vealers £3 3s to £3 os, lighter £2 15s to £3, prime heavy wethers 24s to 24s 2d, prime wethets 23a 3d to 23s 6d, extra prime ewes 21s Bd, prime ewes. 20s 2d to £2os 6d, lighter ewes 19s, prime lambs 14s, good lambs 13s. SYDNEY STUD SHEEP SALES. At the Sydney stud sheep sales on Wednesday, a line of Lincolns offered on account of Mr Joseph Dowthwaite, of Waimate, brought 20gns. A line of hogget? realised from two to two and a half guineas. Fourteen ram lambß brought three to three and a half guineas. English Leicesters, on acount of Mr William Nixon, of Killinchy, brougnt 20 guineas. Nine ram hoggets sold for two and a half guineas. Border Leicesters, on account of Mr Dowthwaite, realised 25gns, rarri lambs three to three and a half guineas, 30 ram hoggets three and a half guineas, 22 lambs two and a half guineas. On account of Mr John Nixon, of Killinchy, 15 ram hoggets brought three and threequarter guineas. Romney Marsh rams, offered on behalf of Mr Dowthwaite, fetched lOgns, and ram lambs two and three - quarter guineas. On account of Mr Ensor, White Rock, Rangiora, 2 Corriedale rams brought 50gns each, 3 others 32igns, 20 20gns. On account of Mr J. Dowthwaite, a Romney Marsh ram brought 66gns, while others ranged from 15gns to 20gns. A ewe brought 24Jgns, others 9gns to 20gns. Mr Dowthwaite's Border Leicesters brought sgns to 20gns, Mr Donald Grant's Border Leiceßters 6gns to 27igns. Large offerings of stud and flock sheep and lambs of various English breeds on behalf of New Zealand owners ranged from 2|gns to 7gns.
