BIBLE-IN-SCHOOL LEAGUE.

A meeting of the league was held in the Anglican Hall on Friday last at 3 p.m., the Rev. W. S. Wayne presiding, and a fair attendance being present. The matter of thoroughly canvassing the town to obtain signatures requesting a referendum on the question was discussed. It was finally decided to divide the town into three parts, the Anglican, Methodist, and Presbyterian Churches each being allotted » part to staff with workers for a house-to-house canvass. It was also decided to enroll members of the league and to procure a jsupply of league badges, each oerson donating a shilling to the funds to receive one.
