ANOTHER FIRE AT CAMBRIDGE.

Cambridge, This Day. In the earlv hours of this morning Cambridge experienced another destructive fire, thus quickly following the extensive damage wrought by Monday's conflagration. On Monday Messrs Crowther and Bell, livery Btable proprietors, were burnt right out, suffering loss to the extent of ' £2500, their " insurance only being £1250. Yesterday they purchased stables owned by rival proprietors and transferred their business to those quarters. It was at their new stablea that the fire broke out thiß morning the whole structure and practically all the plant therein being demolished The sheds adjoining, belonging to ' local storekeepers, contained benzine and, gunpowder and gelignite, and there was great excitement until theße dangerous explosives were removed out of danger. The firemen worked nobly, and thanks to their efforts and the fact that no wind was blowing the fire did not spread to the neighbouring proprietors. Great sympathy is felt for Messrs Crowther and B ell in their second loss to some hundreds of pounds, it is doubtful if anv of their belongings are covered bv inThß b J Ui,ding b °l°nged to Mr Seth Webb, and was valued at £4OO being insured for £l5O with the OceaA Company.
