It is understood that the WaikatoManiapoto Land Board will have a large block of from twenty to thirty thousand acres opened within the next twelve months. It is known as the Mahutonga block, and is situated about ten miles from Kihikihi. It is suitable for close settlement arid is now being surveyed and will be cut up into areas of from 600 acres. An applicant at Tottenham recently said: "I want a summons for insult. A woman had the cheek to come to my house to collect some money I owe her,"
