The Premier has received a cable from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, dated London, February 24th, inviting eight members of Parliament to be guests of the committee of both Houses of Parliament in London at the Waldorf Hotel from Saturday, 17th June, to Saturday, Ist July, inclusive. This period includes the week in which the Coronation is to take place. The committee-hope later to be able to extend the invitation by one wtek. Owing, to the exigencies of space, it is not possible to include an informal invitation to the wives and daughters of the members invited, but at the same time the committee will be glad to provide hotel accommodation for one lady, being the wife or daughter, such information to reacn London by 4th March, giving full particulars whether the lady guest is a wife or daughter. The Premier proposes to extend the invitation to five Government members and three Opposition members. The invitation does not include the cost of passage either way.
