FIRE BRIGADE.
A meeting of Te Kuiti Fire Brigade ■was held on Monday night in Hattaway's rooms, the superintendent, Mr J. Nicholson, in the chair. The following appointments of officers of the brigade were made : Superintendent, J. Nicholson; Lieutenant, E. Sowry; Foreman, J. Rutherford; Treasurer, M. J. Jones; Secretary, J. Erickson; Auditors, Messrs Kirk and Mussen; Hon. Surgeon, Dr Zobel. Messrs Jones and Erickson were authorised to sign cheques. Two new members, W. Ford and M. Gough, were elected.
