The first shoot for Gunson's Cup took place on Saturday, 19th November. when the weather was wet and the attendance poor. The conditions were seven shots at 200, 500 and 600 yards. The leading scores were: — C. Williams 31, 34, 32—97; O. Currie, 28, 33, 34—95; W. K. Williams, 33, 32, 30 —95; Bert Loveday, 30, 33, 32—95; W. Woof, 33, 30, 32—95; Geo. Loveday, 3-3, 28, 33—94; D. Bruce, 29, 32, 13—92; E. Currie, 32, 32, 28-—92: S. Currie, 31, 33, 28 —92; E. Williams, 25, 33, 32—90; P. Dons, 33, 32, 25—90.
