Grown steers in forward condition made from £6 16s to £7 7s, 3 to H year steers £5 10s to £6 ss, 2J to 3 year steers £3 to £3 15s, fat cows £5 to £6 17s, cows in fresh condition £3 15s to £4 ss, store cows £2 10s to £2 18s, 2 year empty heifers £4 to £4 2s, yearling heifers £2 10s to £2 15s, dairy cows £4 10s to £7 2s 6d, springing heifers £5 to £6 10s, weaner pigs 8s to 10s.

The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Ohaupo, on Tuesday, November 15th, we had a yarding of 1590 head of cattle, chiefly empty heifers from 1J to 2 years old, yearling steers and heifers. A few outsiders in need of fern crushers helped the sale wonderfully, and although prices were a little easier than a couple of weeks ago nearly all were sold. Dairy heifers fit "to go to the bull, however, sold a3 well as ever, and 533 ranging from 15 months to 2 years made from £3 5s to £4 14s, yearling'heifers £2 12s i.:d to £3, really good yearling steers £2 16s to £3 2s, others, mixed sexes £2 16s to £3 2s, others, mixed sexes £2 6s to £2 12s 6d, fresh conditioned 3 year steers £5 lis to £5 15s, good quality.2 year steers £4 5a to £4 7s 6d, others £3 15s to £4, springing heifers of a good class £7 to £9, small framed springing heifers £4 5s to £4 15s. About 50 bulls yarded were not required, and only a few sold.

At. Hamilton, on ihursday, 17th inst., we yarded S6 head of beef, 159 store and dairy cattle, 620 sheep and 166 pigs, and have to report a good enquiry for all classes. Three extra heavy prime fat steers (show cattle) made £ll to £l3, prime fat steers £S 10s to £9 17s fid, lighter weights £7 15s, fat cows £6 to £6 12s 6d, lighter sorts £4 4s to £4 10s, 15 month steers £3 to £3 Is, calves 335, 2 year heifers £4 10s to £4 15s, one pen cf hale bred Jerseys £6, 18 month heifers £3 2s 6d, springing heifers £6 to £9 ss, backward cows £3 15s to £4, bulls 2\ guineas to 3£ guineas, fat wethers, shorn 12s to 15s lOd, fat lambs 133 9d to ]4s Bd, woolly ewes with small percentage of lambs 15s Id, pigs slips 16s 3d to 275, weaners 5s 6d to 13s 6d. At Waihou on 18th inst., we had a yarding of 1036 head of cattle, 70 pigs and 40 fat sheep. There was a good enquiry for all classes of stock, and with few exceptions all were sold under the hammer. Fat lambs made 14s, fat ewes shorn 14s 6d to 15s 9d, forward ewes 10s 2d and 10s 6d, weaner pigs in good demand 12s to 18s, fat steers £7 to £9 7s fid, fat cows and heifers £a 5s to £6 7s 6d, aged fat and forward cows £4 5s to £s,' fresh 3 5 to 4 year steers £5 15s to £6 ss, 15 to 18 month steers £3 7s 6d to £3 15s, good yearling steers £3 2s to £3 7s 6d, mixed yearlings £2 to £2 12s fid, very choice dairy heifers £4 5s t n £4 15s, others not so good £3 15s to £4, yearling heifers £2 10s to £3, about 40 bulls were not in great demand at £3 3= to £0 os, springing cows, heifers £6 10s to £9 10s for the best; others, £5 downwards.
