STOCK SALES.

The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report as follows: — We held a sale of Mr F. Roney's dairy herd on his farm, Morrinsvillc, on Monday last, and have to report a most successful sale. Notwithstanding the rough weather there was a good attendance and brisk bidding throughout. Cows just calved £5 2s 6d to £8 10s; springing cows £7 5s to £9 2s6d; others more backward £5 15s to £6 10s; old cows £3 15s to £4 ss; unsound cows £3 to £3 10s; springing heifers £4 15s to £5 10s; more backward sorts £4 2s 6d to £4 12s 6d; small heifers £3 10s to £3 15s; on account of other clients: Jersey cows showing well up in calf £7 to £7 7s 6d; Jersey cows £8 10s; Shorthorn heifer £8 7s 6d.

At Ohaupo on Tuesday, July 6th, we yarded 600 head of cattle. There was a good attendance and a keen demand throughout. Fresh conditioned bullocks £5 15s to £6 9s; three and three and a half year steers £4 16s to £5 3s; two and a half year steers £3 15s to £ 4 10s; choice 18 month and 2 year steers £3 14s; yearling steers £2 8s to £2 15s ; mixed calves and yearlings 35s to 40s; calves 23s to 275; forward conditioned empty cows £3 16s to £4 14*; empty 18 month heifers £2 15s; springing heifers £5 to £5 17s 6d; more backward sorts £4 5s to £4 10s; woolly hoggets 10s 6d to lis.

At Waihou on Friday, 3rd July, we yardpd 59 beef, 373 store cattle, 1 175 sheep and 45 pigs. Keen demand all round and the whole yardine cleared. Small fat steers £6 6s to £8; choice fat cows and heifers £5 to £6 ss; aired cows £3 15s to £4 10s; 3 year store steers £4 10s to £5; 2 to 3 year steers £3 10s to £4; 18 month steers £2 15s to £3; good calves 355; smaller sorts 20s to 255; choice dairy heifers £6 to £6 10s; backward sorts £3 2s 6d to £4 15s; fat wethers 16s to 18s; fat ewes lis 9d; hoggets 7s 7d to 10s; ewes in lamb lis to 15s Id; weaner pigs 7s 9d to 10s 3d. At Te Kuiti on the Bth inst., we held a special sale on behalf of Messrs Lusk and Rathbone, when we offered 1700 sheep and 170 bead of cattle; the bad weather and roads prevented the balance of stock entered earning forward. There was a good attendance, and a keen demand for all "classes of stores, and prices bere extremely good.
