To the Editor. Sir,—Wootcf you kindly isert to your paper the following complaint about tbxgrea* neglect©! the Taumarunm Pbatal Authorities on the way they •end the mails. On the 24th June a wire ww sent to me informing me that my mother was dead, and instead of getting it on the 26 th inst.. I did not receive it until the 3rd July. In the meantime it wa* sent ot Patonga. and waa lying there for a week before it waa forwarded on to me. together with two other tetters that were marked urgent. Now 1 think the King Country settlers are placed under enough disadvantages at present with bad roads* without keeping os out of our matt, the way th«y do at present There ia also another instance of the way in which they pot op their mails: They ssnt to Aekopae letters that ought to have been *ent South instead of down the river. Trusting that some abler pen than mine will take the mattar opv—l am, ate.. * JOHN MORRIS. Artkopae, July Stb. 1909.
