CORRESPONDENCE
CONWAY RABBIT BOARD. (To the Editor). Sir, —I would like to make a public request to the chairman (Air R. R. Laidlaw) and members of the Conway Rabbit Board that in the interests of all a meeting of ratepayers be held immediately to discuss the matter of sub-division. In support of my request I wish to state that there are in both northern and southern areas fanners who are. adequately rated as well as those in both areas who are inadequately rated. So long as there are those who are inadequately rated the Crown grant (which is over and above the subsidy) will be withheld. This applies regardless of sub-division. Ratepayers in both areas have requested a meeting. —Yours, etc., G ROBT. HAMILTON. | “The board has considered the interests of all, and made its decision accordingly,” stated Air Laidlaw’ when the letter was referred to him.]
