Members of the Kaikoura Collie Club are reminded that a wprking bee will be held at “Dudley*® on Saturday, commencing at 10.30 a.m. The County Council advises consumers that electric power will be eut.-oit between 1 and 4 p.m. on Sunday next. Dairy farmers are advised that Air J. R. Unwin, South Island manager, Herd Improvement Association, and Air C. How. consulting officer, New Zealand Dairy Board, will address a meeting to be held in the R-.S.A. Hall at p.m. on Alonday. Alembers of the Loyal Heart of Oalq Lodge arc advised that the next meeting will be held on Saturday, Alay 13, when members of the Loyal Marlborough Lodge /vill visit Kaikoura. Members may invite a friend to a social commencing at 9 o'clock. The Kaikoura Dairy Company advises that an extraordinary meeting will be held in the Suburban Hall on Alonday, Alay 29, to consider the ! adoption of new "Articles of Association and increasing the capital of the company. The Agricultural and Pastoral Association advises that prize money of less than £1 will be paid out at the office of the secretaries between 9 a.m. and noon and 2 p,in. and 5 p.m. until Friday, Alay 14). Amounts over £1 will be paid by cheque. Although the International Rugby Board has blessed the South Afrieanised method of gaining the ball from the serums, a great many knowledgeable judges of the game still consider that the new ruling has gone outside Rugby laws, or their^intention. How will "the All Blacks, fare when they adopt this much discussed means of obtaining possession of the ball against the 3-2-3 formation of the touring British Isles team this season?
