Robbery on Sydney Ferry Hit on Head and Thrown Into Harbour Dying Depositions Taken Reed 11 a.m Sydney, This day I Edward Chisholm, aged 61, Secretary of a city firm, was brutally attacked on the harbour ferry early this morniDg. robbed of £l,lOO and th-n ibrown into the harbour by bis attackers.
Chisholm was able fco keep afloat, and his cries for help were heard hy the ferry Grew on its return trip to Totaby, fifteen minutes later.
Chisholm was admitted to the hospital with a fractured skull and his dying depositions taken.
1 Chisholm was sitting alone in the the bow of the boat, when two men approached and stunned him with a blow oh the head.
It is believed his assailants mingled with the crew and walked ashore when the ferry reached Neutral Bay.
