Grey v Reef ton A very enjoyable friendly game was played on the Racecourse yesterday between a Ofreymouth eleven and Reefton. The game was spoilt by intermittant showers, but has proved of little inconvenience to the players. P. Scott of Reefton, was the outstanding player of the day, taking 5 wickets for 20 runs and scoring a nicely complied ■!!!. F. Bonifacio took a fine catch j very close to the ground, about the i best catch seen this season. I The fielding of the Grey team was 'up to standard, but the batting
lacked enterprise and tho bowling lacked sting. On their home ground perhaps a different game would result. | heefton have not been defeated i this season, and all the players are endeavouring. to finish the season 1 without a victory being recorded ‘ against them.
