Greymouth Court Cases
(Per TJDrifted Press Assd.) Greymouth, This dav H. Martin and James Somerville, miners at Dobaon. were fined £1 each with coats, for having matches in their possession whilst in the mine. George Featherstone, aged 18, was committed to the Borstal Institute for two years for theft. Accused had a previous conviction. George Carlyle was fined £1 with costs, for the theft of cups and saucers from Stillwater Railway Refreshment Rooms.
