COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL gPECIAL ORDER Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Coromandel County. Council, held on Wednesday, the 12th day of July, 1950, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary General Meeting of the Council' to be held on Wednesday, 9th day of August, 1950, at 9 a.m., at the Council Chambers, Kapanga Road, Coromandel. RESOLUTION Proposed by Councillor H. T. Robinson THAT pursuant to the provisions of Section 59 of the Counties Act, 19_20, the Coro- 1 mandel County Council resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows:— 1. In lieu of nine members, tne Said Coromandel County Council shall consist of ten members, who shall be elected as follows: (a) The electors of the Colville Riding shall elect two members as heretofore. (b) The electors, of the Coromandel Riding shall elect three members as heretofore. (c) The electors of the KuaotunU Riding shall 1 elect one membet a's heretofore, “ ' (d) The electors of the Whangapoua Riding shall elect one member as heretofore. . (e) The electors of the Whenuakite Riding shall elect one member as heretofore. .' \ (f) The electors of the Whitianga Riding shall elect TWO members.

2. The alteration hereby made in the number of members of the Said Council shall 1 take effect at -the general' election of Councillors to be held in the month of November, 1950, except in so far and to such extent as may be necessary for preparing any roll or otherwise providing for that election. Seconded by Councillor S. H. Le-Roy Dyson —and Carried. A copy of proposed Special order is deposited in the County Office, Coromandel, and is open to inspection of the public during office hours for 21 days preceding the meeting jto be held on August 9, 1950. Donations and Subscriptioins to the 1950 U.N. Appeal for Children will be received in the County Council Office, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, where official receipts will be issued. Coromandel County has been included in the Auckland District for purpose of the Appeal.
