NEW COURSE

AGRICULTURE AT PAEROA ENTHUSIASM EXPRESSED A considerable amount of preliminary work and several discussions with officers of the Department of Education as well as with the high school teaching staff, has been carried out by the Paeroa District High School Committee in connection with the new agricultural course at present being established at the secondary school. This course promises to be a particularly desirable and attractive one and will, be second to none in the district when once fully established. The latest conference was held last week with Mr J- Depnehy of Auckland, who outlined the scheme and he and the committee are very enthusiastic over the whole plan, fuller details\ of which will be released at an early date.
