DOGS’ SUCCESSES
EIGHT PRIZES AT SHOW < SPANIELS FROM KEREPEHI Mrs J. Knight of the Tavistock Kennels, Kerepehi, was very successful with her two entries in the 57th Annual Challenge Show of the Auckland Kennel Club held at the Epsom showgrounds on February 11 and 12. .There were 55 cocker spaniels in the various classes and Mrs Knight’s Maungarei Juilette (Bon Ton Random Gold—Silver Beam of Maungarei) secueed first prize in the maiden class, second prize in the puppy under 12 months class, second prize in the novice class and second also in the junior class.. Her second entry, Roberts of Maungarei (Beware — Champion Queen of Hildene) secured four prizes: first in the maiden class, first in the novice clas, second in _ the limit class and third in the ** open class.
