SOCIAL NOTES

OMrs T. Pye, of Wood' street, Paeroa, has returned' home after a holiday spent in Auckland. Mrs R. Roberts and her daughter Mrs- K. Johnson left yesterday to spend a holiday in Wellington. Mrs T. Harris, of Mangatarata, has returned home after spending a holiday at “The Oaks,” Auckland. Mrs N. Hedges, Canal road, Waitakaruru, has left to spend a holiday in Manurewa and Auckland.

Mrs W. Wallace, of Waitakaruru, is spending a short holiday with Mrs Roy Spence, Remuera, Auckland. Mrs Alan Harris of Waitakaruru, recently spent a holiday at Tuakau, as the guest of Miss B. Waterhouse.

Miss Colleen Leach of Waitakaruru has returned home after a holiday spent with Mrs H. G. Leach, Tuakau. Miss B. Flynn, of Mangatarata, has taken up duties on the staff of the Waitakaruru Post Office.

Mrs. Hessy is a visitor to Mrs F. W. Bell, Waihou -street, Turua. Miss iB. Chaiton has been the guest of Mrs A. Sutton, Turua. Mrs G. Henwood of Wharepoa was a visitor to Auckland diuring the weekend.

Mrs Hook of Mt. Albert, Auckland, is visiting her daughter, Mrs W. Brunton of Wharepoa. Miss Helen Innis, of Hamilton, has been spending the school vacation with her parents, Mr and- Mrs G. Innis of Wharepoa.
