Sugar of Milk Factory
The erection of a factory at Kapuni for the production of sugar of milk from whey supplies drawn over a radius of nine miles is likely to be proceeded with, following a meeting of suppliers of the Joll Dairy Com- \ pany. By a vote of IO to one in favour, the meeting recommended the directors of the company to pomplete their arrangements with Dairy Products Ltd., Edendale, for the establishment of the industry. The contract for disposal of the whey will extend over a 20 year period, and the factory is estimated to involve the expenditure of £lOO,OOO. Farmers In Conference The quarterly conference of the Northern Thames Sub-Provincial Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union was held in iPaeroa on Tuesday, the chairman, Mr S. E.
