ON PROMOTION
M*R N. MacGIBBON FAREWELLED TO MANAGE WAIROA f BANK After two years of service as accountant at the Thames branch of the Bank of New Zealand, Mr N. J. MacGibbon has received an appointment as manager of the Wairoa branch, and left Thames on Tuesday to take up his new position. On Friday evening Sir Mac Gibbon was farewelled by the staff of the bank, the manager, Mr M. J. Daniel, congratulating him upon his wellearned promotion and wishing him and his family every happiness and prosperity in the future. He then presented Mr McGibbon with a foun-tain-pen as a token of the staff’s respect and appreciation of his many kindnesses.
Mr Mac Gibbon thanked Mr Daniel for his kind remarks and the staff for their useful present.
