COMPETITION KEEN
DAIRY CATTLE IN DEMAND GOOD SALE AT MORRINSVILLE The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Ltd., report that' at their weekly stock sale held at Morrinsville on Friday there was a small yarding of fat sheep but a good yarding of stores, including the advertised lines of wethers and breeding ewes. Competition for wethers was keen while an improved enquiry existed for young ewes, but aged ewes were dull of sale. Fat cows were yarded in larger numbers and sold under steady competition at full late rates. A full yarding of boner cows also realised late rates. Empty Jersey heifers were in good demand. i
There was another large yarding of dairy cattle including the advertised herd. Competition for good quality young cows and heifers was keen and recent improved rates were fully maintained.
