STILL AMPLE ENOUGH STILL ABLE TO EXPORT PRESERVED FOOD SENT OUT The occupation of Iceland by 'British t ■''ops has re-opened up that ex-■p-'it : market to preserved foods from Cleat Britain. These are- also -going out to Gibraltar, and, under the Government’s scheme, are assisting in the provisioning of Malta. As a result of the practical cessation of supplies from the Continent, exports of preserved foods from Britain have increased in West Africa, the Dutch East Indies and the Dutch West Indies.
One English supplier who has substantially increased his exports to the United States and Canada has actually doubled his turnover -in South America.
