KOPUARAHI INSTITUTE ANNUAL MEETING HELD OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Kopuarahi Women’s Institute was held at Mrs W. Hale’s residence, Mrs J. Bowen presiding over a good attendance of members.

The president’s and treasurer’s reports showed many activities during the past year, and the hope that the good work of the institute would continue successfully, was expressed by all members.

The following officers were elected: —President, Mrs J. Bowen; secretary, Mrs B. Heenan; treasurer, Mrs Hudson; vice-presidents, Mesdames W. Hale and Auger; committee, Mesdames Fargher (delegate), Mac. Miller, Killgour, Misses . Whitle, G. Hale and Auger.

The competition was won by Mrs Mac. Miller.

Afternoon tea was served by Mrs Mac. Miller and Miss Hale.

The National Anthem concluded the meeting.
