Ralph Lynn, complete with eyeglass and smile is responsible for the laughs which fall thick and fast as “Tons of Money” unwinds. The story ol "Tons of Money” concerns Aubrey Allington, an inventor of high explosives, whose brilliance is such that one could easily imagine him mixing sug- ! ar with gun cotton and taking dynamite with his tea. He figures in a little blasting episode in order to lay full claim to a legacy of £150,000 and evade his army of creditors into the i bargain. As he was in the original London stage presentation Ralph Lynn is Aubrey in the British Dominions production, and, really, a more delicious, irresponsible, philandering, perfect ass never existed. A good supporting programme makes Saturday’s entertainment one of the best screened locally for some time. Bearing in mind the tremendous crowd which attended to see “Plunder,” the management suggests that patrons BOOK THEIR SEATS for “Tons of Money.” Phone Curran’s, 105. MONDAY.
