’rum Our Own Correspondents PUKEMIRO. The usual dance and card party was held here on Wednesday in the Miner’s Hall. Prizes for cards, Miss A. Fairless and Mr Robinson; consolation prizes going to Mrs Joines and Mr Jones. The competition was won by Mr D. Taylor. The Monte Carlo valtz was won by Mrs Raynor and Mr D. Taylor. Pukcmiro Medical Society arc now the owners of a new motor ambulance which should be of great service to the people. TENNIS. Saturday was a lovely sunny day for the commencement of the Tennis Tournament, Pukcmiro juniors 2, met Ngaruawahia juniors 1, at Pukemiro, Ngaruawahia winning the day.
