The following is a list of the principal sales: —Eight Jersey * and Jersey-cross dairy cows (3rd. calvers) realised £7 apiece; eight 2nd. calvers of similar, breed sold" for £6; five 4th. calvers, at £6/5/0; livcvorppty.cows at £3; two dairy cows' (low in condition) at £3/5/0; one tliree-vear Jersey bull sold for oi guineas; one 2-year Jersey bull sold for 3 guineas; 1J rising yearling Jersey heifers ai. £2/0.0. A throe-vear store steer and a twovear dairy heifer, generously donated by Mr ’ J.obn.; Ryan and Mr " David Larkin respectively" .to - the District Patriotic Society realised a total of £22/10/- for the Patriotic Funds.
