An interesting event at the Dominion , Museum at Wellington, in the past few days has been the nesting, if it can he so called, of the tuatara lizard kept there for purposes .of study.- Tim laying of eggs by a tuatara in cantitj^ tS?6 only the second time. The previous occasion was when a tuatara laid oges at the Auckland Museum. The j Dominion Museum tuatara has now j cnntured the record for Wellington with a clutch of nine. The eggs are ... not fertile.
