Hon Tom Shaw, in the House of Commons, answering a question, said he doubtedth e desirability of illegalising the sale of the A ictoria Cross, The Army Act forbade the sale, of decorations and medals to unauthorised persons. This did not prevent bona fide sales to collectors and similar purchasers. Mr Thurtle: Is not the man who earns a decoration entitled to do what he likes with it? There was no answer. A sinister coffin, with a drain-pipe attachment, in which the bogus Marquis of Champaugcrt (as cabled on October 6th) was buried, was produced in court at the trial of his accomplice, Henri Boulogne, who was sentenced to three months, and bis associate, Felix Bachelet, was fined one hundred francs. KELLOGG PACT. MOSCOW, December 4. Italy has informed the Soviet of her adherence to the American Note regarding the Kellogg Pact.
