Giving judgment in an involved will case to-day, concerning the estate of Mrs Margaret Kerr, of New Brighton, who left an estate valued at £II,OOO, Judge Adams said one passage in the. will had no intelligible meaning consistent with the general tenor of the will, and must have been placed there by some blundering draftsman or copyist. As the result of a shooting accident at Oliura yesterday, A. R. Brown, aged 18, was removed to Taumarunui Hospital with a pea-rifle bullet in bis knee. At the Police Court, Mr McKeen S.M. fined Thomas Henry Mordnunc Barry £25 for supplying whisky for consumption in the Maori Council District of Horoutu.
