Ry Telegraph—Per Press Association. THAMES J. C. MEETING, AUCKLAND, Oct. 29. The Thames Jockey Club’s annual meeting opened at Ellerslie tq-day in fine weather. The course was in excellent order and some fine racing was witnessed. The totalisator receipts for the day totalled £.33,709, compared with £17,480, an increase of £3.3,087 over the corresponding day of last year, when the meeting was held at Thornes. Results :
