NEW YORK, Aug. 18. The air mail officials at Chicago os
pressed tlio fear that P. Giles, who was following the air mail plane from De--1 troit, was forced down somewhere between Stugis (Michigan) and Chicago. Tlie mail plane landed at Chicago, hut nothing ..jyas heard from Giles. The mail plane pilot said he last saw the aviator in the vicinity of Sturgis. MISS DORAN AND PARTY FOUND. HONOLULU, Aug. 19. Mr Dole has offered 20,000 dollars as a reward for information providing a definite clue to the fate of the occupants of the missing planes. He said he felt most concerned because of his indirect responsibility. Jensen, flying the Aloha, is searching the island waters for the missing flyers. Ho returned without discovering nny trace. / Goebel, who is also searching in the direction of Kauke, has not yet returned. Mr William Molloska, financial hacker of Miss Doran, announced an additional ten thousand dollar reward. Miss Doran was found near Homanu Day, with the three occupants safe. They were brought to Kotena, 9(1 miles south-east of HonoVulu, which is a desolate spot on the island of Maui. The trails and roads there are iippaijsable.
